The CL5187ZYS6HQ is an 18-tonne refuse compactor on a HOWO ZZ1187K511JF1 cargo-truck chassis with 2 axles and 6 tyres, at an 18,000 kg gross vehicle weight and 8,850 – 9,700 × 2,550 × 3,450 mm overall dimensions. The main equipment consists of a compaction body and a compression system used to collect, compact and haul municipal solid waste: refuse is tipped into the rear filler, compacted inside the body by the compression mechanism, and carried away at a much higher payload per trip. The vehicle uses only the 4,500 / 4,700 / 5,100 mm wheelbases, and can be specified with a square or curved body, a fully sealed cover, and different rear working equipment — bin-lift, skip loader, fully sealed hopper or swing-arm device (rear extension 200 mm with the sealed hopper or swing-arm, 400 mm with the bin-lift or skip loader).
