Frequently Asked Questions
Export, ordering and after-sales questions from overseas buyers.
What is the minimum order quantity?
One unit. Standard announced models can be ordered singly; fleet orders receive a volume quotation.
Can you supply right-hand drive vehicles?
Yes. RHD is built at the factory on most models, together with the corresponding wiper, lighting and control layout.
Which documents come with the shipment?
Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin and, where required, export inspection documents. Announcement data and CCC certificate numbers are provided for the specific model.
How long does delivery take?
25–35 working days after deposit for standard models, 40–60 days for customised builds. Shipping time depends on the destination port.
What payment terms do you accept?
T/T with 30% deposit and 70% balance before shipment, or L/C at sight for container and bulk orders, subject to bank and country review.
How is warranty handled?
Chassis warranty follows the chassis manufacturer's policy in the destination country; the Chengli superstructure carries a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects, with the exact scope stated in the contract.
Do you supply spare parts?
A recommended parts kit is shipped with the first order. Wear parts and superstructure-specific components are stocked and can be consolidated into your next container.
Can we inspect the vehicles before shipment?
Yes. We run a factory function test and welcome buyer or third-party inspection; live video inspection can also be arranged.
How are the vehicles shipped?
RORO for most complete vehicles, break-bulk or flat rack for oversize units, and containerised SKD/CKD where local assembly or duty structures favour it.
Can you build to our specification?
Yes. Body length, tank volume, crane model, refrigeration unit, voltage and emission level can be specified; send the requirements and we will return a technical proposal.
